Limitations and alternatives

Despite my best efforts to ensure the accessibility of Pretty Wild World, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact me if you observe an issue not listed below.

Known limitations for Pretty Wild World:

  1. Blog posts older than 2020: Uploaded images may not have text alternatives because some photos are for decorative purposes only. I’m in the process of adding alternative texts with complete photo descriptions for each photos published in my website. Please, do not hesitate to email me if you encounter an issue. But rest assured, I’m doing my best to make my website accessible for all.
  2. Blog posts older than 2020 and comments from users: Some links may be added on non-descriptive texts such as “click here” or “check it here” instead of anchoring it on descriptive related text within the post. The reasons are:

    – I wrote my articles like how I normally speak hence such writing format occurs. That said, I’m going through all my published posts and editing every non-descriptive links and making sure that each links are straightforward and leads to related pages.

    – I have over 10,000 readers comment where some have links in them on my website and it will take some time to get through them all. Rest assured, I’m combing through the whole lot of them making sure to edit comments that have non-descriptive anchor links.
  3. Website accessibility: I may have some pages that do not automatically corresponds to the right font, format, and color that makes it accessible. I’m currently testing out different color combinations, fonts, and format to make this happen.

Thank you for your patience! I appreciate it a lot. Please, do not hesitate to email me if you encounter an issue and I’ll address it right away.
