Clothes to pack for Thailand weather
Known for its tropical weather, Thailand has two extreme kinds of weather, which are rainy and the dry or summer season, both of which one needs to pay close attention to when coming to this marvelous country. Rainy season falls between May/June to October, while the dry or summer season falls on the months of March to June.
If you’re planning to visit during the rainy season, your Thailand packing list should consist of few essential items such as a raincoat and an umbrella but also take note that during this time of the year, some cities may face flooding. So, be wary of this certain occurrence and plan your trip accordingly.
On the other hand, the summer season in Thailand is delightful but may be too hot for its western visitors as the temperature can reach up to over 40°C. Other than that, just make sure to wear comfortable clothing, preferably made out of cotton, and make sure to time your sightseeing just in the mornings and evenings and, as much as possible, avoid the afternoons as it is when the sun shines the brightest (and hottest).
